Part of the issue is Metroid Prime started veering off course by the third title. It started caring more about a narrative around the Federation and providing dialogue instead of embracing the feel Metroid games usually provided of you uncovering secrets yourself and exploring yourself.

Be real, view perspectives beyond your own, look at facts and see what people are saying. What do they really mean when they say it? What are they /wanting/ truly? If you made it this far, you're a gentlemen and a SCH. Thank you for reading. 👓👌(25/25)

FFXIV isn't in a "bad" state, but it absolutely could be doing a lot better. YOU can decide why that is if you genuinely reflect on what's worth playing the game for. Be real, be critical, don't just "be nice" because of your nostalgia and care for the game you loved (24/25).

So when you see criticism like this, don't just brush it off as "haters" or nonchalant crap takes. Consider their perspective may have some merit and indulge it. Disagree if you want, that's absolutely fine, but dismissal of critique IS going to kill this game. (23/25)

I want the ff14 universe to feel valued again as a whole. I care about this game or I wouldn't be writing all of this. I've stopped playing for so long hoping when I come back I don't feel this way but it's not going away and the population of the game is reflecting this. (22/25)

We need to put value in criticism, not be given every luxury outright, and understand the point of consequences and obstacles. We need our value back in the game again, but we won't get it if we're given everything we want to be made easier, convenient, and simplified. (21/25)

I know this is lengthy so I'll try to wrap this up. I LOVE Final Fantasy XIV. I do, I really do, I based my model around it, it was the first MMO that made me feel apart of something grand. But if people are leaving, we need to be real and understanding for a moment. (20/25)

We have no identity anymore. You're as good as anyone else, because the content no longer challenges, no longer cares, and you'll still get it anyways so long as you put in time. The value feels diminished and we welcome it with open arms. (19/25)

if you can do everything everyone else can, if every job can tackle any content without much difference, if every mount does the same thing, if everyone can do what you can do... What do you matter anymore besides glamour? This is why modding became popular. (18/25)

not feeling like a carbon copy that can do anything, everywhere, always, just like anyone. I don't feel like I'm apart of the community in a "meaningful" way, I'm just the typical WoL given everything they want like everyone else and hand held the whole way. Answer me this,(17/?)

I miss having an MMO to explore, to fall in love with and immerse myself into. I miss caring about where I log out, my character doing something and on an actual quest to accomplish something that wasn't going to be immediately worthless next patch. I miss my character (16/?)
