Tbh I dont think AI is responsible for this, only making the problem worse. It's long been the case that schooling at all levels is fundamentally broken, and the world we've made has given no one any incentive to try at it. Not to mention making the process so arduous that any escape is justified

And that's not even accounting for how the universities and schools of all levels constantly shit on them, fail them, exploit their labor and take all their money, or the fact that how we do schooling at all levels needs to almost be overhauled from scratch at this point
