It's really mostly for the A ranking. Playing it normally is a serendipitous experience. But at least now I'm through with needing to A rank the canyon, so it can only go up from here

Lol. Usually type 2 fun means "the type that is not very fun at all". A game that fits the description is Jet Set Radio 1, as a game that is endlessly frustrating to work with, but rewarding if you stick to it.
