I hate how there's criticism of SA being depicted in the book. Media shouldn't be watered or dumbed down for the sake of coddling others. I want to read the raw moments. I don't want everything to be sanitized and censored.
I really want to read Dear Destiny, so I'll buy it in Japanese and attempt to read it. Though it'll be slow. (1/4)

I've seen lots of accounts posting about it on X, but I think the best comes from pavaal (I don't know her, just came across her posts). If I read summaries of books, I want to hear about the bits of good writing and character development.

Fun fact: The ending sequence of Loveless where Rosa places a hand on Alfreid's cheek and they hug was filmed exclusively by Cloud and Aerith's mo-cap actors.

No one is more aware than the development team that Aerith/Zack fans are also Cloud/Tifa fans (same people), and that "Team Aerith" fans are pretty much Cloud/Aerith fans. They already know. So if you ship #clerith don't worry.

This rare Amano work depicting Aerith and Cloud + Tidus and Yuna sold for $7000! X has people debating over its authenticity, but the seller has a 99% rating and has sold dozens of rare Amano art before. Plus it has the certificate of authenticity, so it's likely to be a real commission!

There's some discussion on who the Buster Sword represents on the cover of Dear Destiny. It's obviously Cloud, but - another shortcut way to tell is that the sword features a blue and green materia, same as what's featured in Cloud's sword in every pre-rendered scene.

Called it! I knew there would be a novel between Rebirth and Part 3. "Traces of Two Pasts" (like Crisis Core) contextualizes the past ahead of Rebirth. This novel will likely contextualize things further, prior to Part 3, since it leads up to Tifa and Aerith meeting for the first time.

Naoki Hamaguhi says you really can look forward to the climax of the Remake series, and it’ll be exactly what you want it to be. He says It’s coming, and it’s just as good as you think it is. He's very confident in the game that he's making there. (VGC, 10/24)
