Teaching History of Video Games this semester and we had a retro game night (2 actually) where some students brought in games & old consoles - was so excited to see Intellivsion brought in today, have not played Astrosmash since the 80's and wow - forgot about non-ergonomic controllers! lol

made a frankenstein dessert today consisting of three our favorite things - Shortbread-Pecan Pie-Cheesecake (was my partner's birthday on the 10th, but covid took me out of baking mode) -- it is DELISH (food photography is not my forte lol)

I don't have many hobbies besides working on mind-bending puzzles but decided to give pottery a go! These are the results of my first 2 (2hr ea.) at pottery workshops -- and I am pretty stoked with the outcome! Hoping to take a 6 week workshop soon! Maybe I found a new hobby!?

Fall teaching schedule is set - booking in lunch cause FOOD! For those who teach, do you also block off time for admin and grading - I never have since it would really book things in w/no room for random meetings (maybe that's a good thing? lol)
