While there is a point where truthful criticism can be found between the barbs, if that feedback is buried under a dense layer of hyperbole- I have no problem telling myself I'm too busy to read.

If somebody sincerely wanted me to take their feedback to heart, they wouldn't address me like THAT

This was almost me with video games. I am still unhappy with how commercial games have largely rotted for the past decade, and it's getting worse. If not for indies, I would have quit gaming (aside occasionally pulling out consoles for nostalgia)

Crunchyroll is making me want to quit anime too 💔

If we're talking about results, they should be the same. But one advantage for the legs? You don't have to hold your breath during an injection, just keep those leg muscles relaxed, lol

I also get anxious about how far away I need to inject around the belly button, because it's a no-go zone

Still happy I got rid of it last year. While I didn't find everyone from Twitter on here, I don't care if I don't. People who choose to remain complicit with its perpetuation aren't worth my time.

I question why I'm even on social media lately, there's no sense of "community". I'm more into forums.

Some of my fan art of Blaze over the years! 💙 Thank you, Yuji Uekawa, your artwork for the character still inspires me; I'm happy to see it shared around again.

I never stopped daydreaming of her next adventure.

Late reply. Your post made me realize how dearly I missed MP3 players in my life

Retro MP3 players are cheap, (the iRock I had as a kid? Sealed and $30!) but the Mini is so cute, I got one too

No more opening the phone for music, see a distracting notification, then wondering why I opened my phone

Placing my bets on Lilac, lol

This is how to reduce headaches for multi-OS ports on PC, too. 💙

Most extensions and libs for Game Maker only work on Windows, and have less predictable results. 99% of a game's GML "just works" on Mac and Linux when it's vanilla.

A friend ported my project to Linux and nothing in-game broke, lol

(Also I'm still keeping mods that reduce time-wasting loops. Give me a mean game if you want, but please don't make me spend most of Act 2 farming the big bugs for rosaries to buy tools and shards, lmao.)

Silksong has made me rethink difficulty in games like it. If the story, gameplay, music, and characters are compelling enough, you will do it. You will want to see it through to the end, even if you complain a bit along the way.

The challenge was well above my comfort, but I see the vision here.

Whenever I replay this game, I am 100% getting *all* of the needle upgrades, instead of missing that last one a friend told me about last night. The final boss is especially tough without it.

I don't know how some people go through this game with minimal upgrades. My 36 year old brain is tired, lol

The only way to customize a desktop for such an old OS: A stinky 256-color JPG of your favorite cartoon at the time. (Cursed custom pointers and sound effects pending)

I was obsessed with the Samurai Pizza Cats back then, lol

I agree. Terraforming Mars is beyond our scope until mining asteroids is an everyday job, (~decades away) and the abundance of metals changes.

Humanity today can't build an artificial magnetic field to protect Mars. And we shouldn't strip this wonderful world bare to make a sad existence on another
November 4, 2025 at 8:21 AM
Mars has a mineral diversity problem, too. (And we don't yet know the extent of its metal resources, either.)

For as much as I love Mars, humans going there should be a science platform, like Antarctica. Super billionaires only want it for gilded towers beyond all reach and earthly consequences.

Turns out our skin retains much of the oil mediums for meds for some time, and scar tissue from prior injections needs time to heal.

I didn't expect that process to take longer than a week when I stuck myself in the same spot a third time, like, "I'll change my injection site for the fourth stick!"
