This game was a very "Frog Fractions 2" moment for me due to my admitted obsession with Universal Paperclips as "the best idle game" and "a crowning achievement in speculative fiction", things my friends often have to listen to me yap about. Q-UP might not be THE sequel, but it's kinda MY sequel.

Just really taken aback at the sheer amount of thought & care that went into every part of this experience, from typographical conventions to the music (best OST of the year hands down) to the sheer playtesting of the core gameplay, it's easily one of the most inspired games I've ever played.

It's literally between this & Persona character portraits for me. It's baffling to me how much better they look than any eSports game on the market

Anyway, @vjarmy.com bought me Q-UP and I can't thank him enough for it. My goodness, this game

But can this really usurp my GOTY throne currently held by Fractal Block World? I guess we'll have to wait and see if any more big twists come up. Really wouldn't put it past these guys.
