I rewatched 1954’s Creature from the Black Lagoon. It definitely has some opportunities in the plotting but still a fun watch. The creature’s costume, though a bit on the silly rubber side, still looks pretty good.

I’ve been to Depoe Bay, Oregon hundreds of times and only seen a whale there once. My luck is to see them to the north at Boiler Bay or to the south at Rocky Creek
What Depoe Bay does have is neat places for the waves to crash into the shore
