This process is always a bit of a nail-biting time because even though both sides are tied in to complete the purchase after an auction, either side can withdraw & pay penalties plus it’s also when the vendor finds out that the VLM is a VEGAN initiative!! 😮

The VLM are trying to reverse woodland loss by planting future woodlands with carefully selected native trees on saved barren grazed land to create a future habitat for struggling wildlife species. A few weeks ago we planted 1250 tree saplings on plots 6 & 7

We have many deer and wild grazers on VLM land. We do not fence off any wildlife which is why we are using tube to protect the native saplings 🙂
