Stunlocked yet again today by overhearing kids 20 years younger than me conversing while I'm waiting at a fast food place. Also I think I hurt my leg a teeny bit today trying to stick a landing.

I think my New Year's resolution will be to handle intersections more cautiously. People in my city just can't seem to parse red lights correctly, so I'm going to have to do it for them by waiting longer before taking off on a green light.

My favorite part of my Windows 11 experience so far is NVENC just ceasing to exist on any given boot and forcing me to reinstall my NVIDIA drivers to make it appear in OBS again.

Perplexed by the FF7R demo on Switch 2 because the top and left face buttons do the same actions as every other platform the game is on but A/B (or X/O) are swapped.

My potentially $200+ car issue I was dreading the diagnosis of all day turned out to be the stupid twisty cap on the coolant reservoir not sealing perfectly. Dodged a bullet there.

My right monitor's been on the way out for a while now. Tonight the electronic hiss it's been making forever any time it's been on finally stopped and the screen dimmed at the same time.
What I was not expecting was for it to be accompanied by a horrible smell. Turned off and unplugged forever. 😱
