My response: then that’s worse! They are deliberately obscuring the origin of such summaries to make passive compliance to LLM use seem inevitable. I want clear options to opt out of AI - I do not want it turned on automatically, or for it to *pretend* to turn it on automatically

..."innovate" without infringing copyright laws, privacy, human rights, etc. then to hell with these "innovations".

Call me a reactionary but I believe we as a society should not accept our data being exploited and incorporated into AI models without our consent.

...approach is not viable for the EU. It will increase inequality, concentrate power, and reduce competition. All of these are bad for innovation 🙃

What the GDPR does is set a mission/stage for where innovation should take place (i.e. not by exploiting user data). If AI developers can't...

The GDPR is protecting EU individuals' data from being exploited and sold to highest bidder.

We seriously need to have a conversation of what "innovation" is, and should be, especially around AI. I would argue that removing regulations to exploit users is not a step forward. A US inspired...

Måske, men jeg tror ikke denne lov kommer til at fungere da der er mange smuthuller. Fx kan børn skifte til andre platforme hvor aldersverifikation ikke er implementeret. Dette kommer til at skubbe mange over til mere 'usikre' platforme, hvor der er endnu mindre kontrol.

Hvis sociale medier er skadelige for børn er de så ikke også det for andre aldersgrupper?

I Kina regulerer de hvilket indhold algoritmerne må anbefale og hvor meget "lærerigt indhold" der skal være i folks feeds Hvorfor snakker vi ikke om noget lignende?
