Earlier this year, Dr. Katherine Sadleir and the Vassar lab showed that annexin A6 localizes to dystrophic neurites and reduces neurite burden and phosphorylated tau in AD model mice, supporting further investigation of rA6 to limit Aβ-induced membrane damage.

Congrats to Dr. Zinia Mohanta and the McMahon Lab! Their new study shows the first in vivo use of a genetically encoded CEST MRI reporter delivered by rAAV. superCESTide enabled non-invasive, dose-dependent imaging of transgene expression, bringing in vivo gene expression into clear view.
