Helped demonstrate amateur radio to some navy Cadets at HMCS Unicorn last night. The cadets had a great time tonight learning about ham radios from the Saskatoon and District Amateur Radio Association. I was the HF operator and contacts were made from Colorado, Washington State, and California!

I'm 63 with shaky hands and gave up soldering many years ago. Our club with my help gave out a few code oscillator kits and I found an extra one in a junk box. After a shaky start and help from my third hand base. I managed to make one that works.
