Not sure if this is the same in other language, but in Dutch, lighthouse (vuurtoren) is an insult used for someone with ginger (red) hair.
It also used to be the term for a bank note of 250 guilders, which depicted a lighthouse

If ever there was an argument for Proportional Representation to replace the awful FPTP system that restricts voters' choice, it is this prediction. I hope we don't laugh at you at the end of Labour's term, but that we applaud you for being an advocate for that change.
