I make music that sounds like a John Hughes movie you've not yet seen. Synthwave / Retrowave

Wholesome AF - He/Him

I also love horror movies and home haunts and crafting/woodworking. Currently starting a UX Career.

I'm curious what software you use to rip CDs.

I think it's a combination of two things:

They know it's not sustainable, they just want to get theirs and get out before it falls.

BUT their greed convinces them that they can stay a bit longer, cash in a bit more before it's too late.

"Pride comes before the fall" as they say.

We got all the layouts done for CDs and Cassettes.

Even did some old school collage by tearing up pictures.

Spent the whole day making and being creative and DIYing and man does it feel good.

I've always thought it's pretty crazy to have such a huge country across such varied environments and expect everyone to agree how things should be run.

People thought the EU was a crazy idea, but we're not too far off.

That top one would make a pretty killer metal band logo.

(And none of this stopped me from buying a "Christmas" sweater with dancing skeletons that says "I prefer Halloween" 🫠 )

Not to say you should feel any way or do any thing, just a perspective I came upon after feeling the way you do.

I try to look at it as a practice in finding joy. It could be faux sentimentality, or it could be me trying to appreciate the seasons of life just like the seasons of nature

Similar to breathing or grounding techniques, it's not a NATURAL act but it can be one that helps me slow down & take note

We're on the same schedule, it appears. 😁

I felt the same way about "Karen" because even if someone is acting awful, you're training yourself to lump people into groups.

It's a practice in "othering", so yeah, it's treading dangerous ground.

(Not to imply AI has personhood in any way, but going through the motions makes it easier to do to other groups.)

The Lady of the Lake episode is peak storytelling.
