So I thought with the new admin coming in being rather against things like evidence-based medicine and science, I would start to build something on here. Maybe not much, but something. Doubtful medical stuff would get a large following, but I want to try. Try and be that candle in the darkness.

Brought out the clarinet out of the request of my daughter who, after hearing my play the first few lines of Mozart's Clarinet Concerto, promptly told me to put it back.

A reminder that change doesn't happen in a vacuum and often begins at a local level. Local elections can carry many consequences for you and your family, so pay attention to the positions up fo grabs.

The loss of Pierre Robert hits differently than other celebrity deaths. The man's voice to me is akin to Harry Kalas. I always thought it was going to be there. RIP.

I cannot wait for the trial between Ken Paxton and Tylenol to air on Netflix one day, and watch with dramatic flair how badly Ken Paxton gets eviscerated for pushing a bogus lawsuit.

EMTALA is a federal mandate, created by Reagan, so we don't have people dying on streets outside of ERs. It was already an unfunded mandate, and vilifying it and the patients I treat like this is disgusting.

Concerning though is who may replace him, because apparently he wasn't enough for the far-right buzzsaw. To be clear, he resigned due to political pressure from the right, not the left.
