only saying this here be i am dumb and can't fully explicate this, but i fear that a lot of the people at these anti-ice protests aren't actually down with the cause, bc they're the same ones saying the n-word, believing in "viva la raza" (which is exclusionary and anti-indigenous, but they want to claim their latinidad and mestizo-ness (which are ALSO anti-indigenous etc. etc. "concepts" 😭)). like, at least some of these people in attendance have no concept of solidarity and intersectionality, and it's so frustrating! you don't care about anyone but yourselves. you hate Black people. you refuse to learn. you play into stereotypes when it “suits" you. (?! !!! 🥴) you are pathetic cowards who don't know how to protest, bc you don't fucking mask either, and POST about it FOR the "clout". you can't fucking do anything! ... anyway
