Holy shit. I don’t know what kind of black magic this is but I like it. Now they got me thinking a “Special Edition” version of the Halloween films with the OG Myers mask would be something I’d buy immediately.

Sometimes. I lay awake at night thinking about “Mac Tonight”.

What cast of characters do you think would survive the best within the “Walking Dead” universe?

The obvious answer is Joel and Ellie from “Last of Us” but those shows are so similar I don’t want to pick them.

I think Mulder and Scully from the X-Files would adapt and survive pretty well.

I just read an article about how TV remotes are a thing of the past. And maybe I’m old as shit but I don’t want to use an app to control my television. And I suuuuuuure as shit don’t want to use “voice commands” to run my TV either.

One of my favorite parts of the holiday is just how long they truly stick around. Picked these guys up at the store today… extremely random pairing here but my house is going to smell like Christmas again.

I see more rumblings of “All American Massacre” getting finished / released in 2026. And I don’t buy that for a second.

Seems to me it would be better off staying “lost media” as I doubt anyone who might have a smattering of the original footage would even have the proper rights to release it.

That Jurassic Park commercial looked like they used a Snapchat filter to digitally de-age the actors or something. What the hell was that? AI?

Was doing some cleaning earlier today & tossed on some old “Attack of the Show” to play in the background. Realized it’s not so much that I miss this show as I miss it being 2003. Still in High School. Not a (real) care in the world.

Lawn and garden sections are starting to SPRING up in stores 🌱 (see what I did there?). It may not be Halloween or Christmas, but... it’s still way better than Valentine’s Day, right?

I've been playing Marvel Snap again. One of my favorite counters is taking out an opponent's Wong with Lady Deathstrike. Usually, that one play is enough to ruin the rest of their hand.

No amount of money in the world would get me to enter my credit card information on the somehow still functioning in 2026 K-Mart website.

I’m on season eight of “Walking Dead” - which is now officially further than I watched when it originally aired. Very much enjoying this marathon.

Though I’m ready for the series to settle back into its horror roots. Right now they are full on attacking Negan and The Saviors.

“Scam Economy” is a truly terrifying phrase which sadly doesn’t feel like it’s too far off from reality. Everything in the last 10-ish years (crypto, NFTs, AI) all feel like one giant rug pull meant to funnel money to the last few at the top before the whole thing collapses on itself.
The post-industrial period of a developed economy is characterized by three phases.

Until the 2010s, we were in a service economy. Now we are in a scam economy. And we are about to find out what phase comes next.

In the interest of documenting things that probably won’t be around forever, here is one of the last (in my area anyway) JC Penney stores. The mall its attached to is basically dead but this specific location is well stocked, staffed, and actually pretty busy.

Everyone on Facebook is posting AI pictures of themselves… and I wonder if I’m the only one sitting here thinking; they are literally drawing you a picture of how much of your personal data the internet has stolen.

Someone is gonna make Epstein Island in Tomodachi Life 2, though.

Finished watching the "Tomodachi Life" #Nintendo Direct and you know what, I'm sold on this game. Never played the franchise before but it sort of reminds me of a weirder version of Animal Crossing. And I'm down for that!

Well folks I’ve finally hit “that” episode of #WalkingDead … Season 6 Episode 16 “The Last Day on Earth”. The official introduction of Negan. What a cliffhanger to end a season on as well, not knowing who was going to live and who was going to die.

As much as I'd like to watch the rest of the Royal Rumble.... I don't want to pay for an ESPN subscription that I'll cancel immediately.

We live in the dumbest possible timeline.

Something else I been thinking about while rewatching “Walking Dead” … the best overall design for a community would probably the circular design from “Attack on Titan.”

You’d put all your resources in the middle. Food. Weapons. Storage. Medical. Then your housing. Then crops, solar panels, ext.

I’m midway through season 6 of the “Walking Dead” - this feels like sort of like the tipping point when Rick and the group lowkey turn from the good guys into being just as terrible as everyone else. Breaking into Negans camp & killing a bunch of people while they sleep is cold blooded.

I haven’t bought Magic cards since… gosh I was in 8th or 9th grade. Never got into playing the game but I always thought the cards was fun to look at. Decided to pick a couple packs up today.

Menards has truly turned into my retail “safe space” just because of this clearance section they keep tucked away upstairs. It’s the only large retail chain left (that I’m aware of) that keeps this much leftover holiday out all year.

I miss the holidays already.
