Today is Indigenous Peoples’ Day, and we’re celebrating the history, achievements and culture of Indigenous people! We recommend visiting the Burke Museum and exploring their exhibition Woven in Wool: Resilience in Coast Salish Weaving. Admission is free for UW students, faculty and staff!

Earlier this summer, UW’s Housing & Food Services announced that Madrona Hall has been renamed Spratlen Hall and Willow Hall is now Oliver Hall in honor of 3 incredible UW alums. We can’t wait to welcome our Huskies to these newly-named halls this fall!
