The workers didn’t blink.
Result?
They WON full NHS Agenda for Change pay, sick leave, annual leave, weekend and night pay & NhS pensions. Their length-of-service rights recognised.
Equality restored.
Millions returned to workers.
A two-tier system—smashed.

For 4+ years, cleaners, porters & caterers at St Helier & Epsom hospitals were denied full NHS contracts. Mostly Black, brown & migrant workers on worse pay and conditions.
So they organised. 🔥
Hundreds joined the union. ✊🏾
And 98% voted to strike. 💪🏾

With the support of her union, UVW, she challenged her dismissal and won her job back.

Now, with UVW’s support, they’re appealing to the Employment Appeal Tribunal (EAT) to challenge this cruel and arbitrary rule that protects exploitative bosses and blocks justice for migrant workers.

💥 Donate to their legal fund and help set a vital precedent for all victims of exploitation.

When they escaped and tried to seek justice, their case was thrown out — not because it lacked merit, but because they missed a three-month tribunal deadline.

They were homeless, undocumented and traumatised — and the system still said “too late.”

Justice shouldn’t have a deadline.

Seasonal migrant farm workers came to the UK from Chile to pick fruit for one of the country’s biggest berry producers, only to face debt, racial abuse and exploitation.
