And that can’t be captured. Part of the reason losing our loved ones hurt so much is that we know our time is always capped with them. In a way, there’s beauty and uniqueness in it.

So to me, that’s different. The photograph is a sample of you at a time when you were alive. I also have a voicemail or two from deceased loved ones. Same thing. They are not being manipulated or altered. But an AI copy of you after you’re gone? That’s not you. People change and respond differently
