this has been a lot of fun picking the fruit, processing it, and preserving it. i used to dislike summer but now i love it since that's when everything grows. it feels like my whole perspective on life has changed and now i just want to grow and preserve food

first two jams of the year are in the bag. salmon berries were amazing fresh, they dont last long. mixed them with queene anne cherries from a neighbor. sweet and sour cherries are next, smelled absolutely amazing. still lots left, might jam some more
