@agu.org I’m not sure if it’s possible to do this last minute, but could you remove X as the default platform for posting on the #agu24 app?

Aside from all the issues with the platform, we aren’t there anymore. We’re here!

Attention brGDGT lovers. Just out this week, a new OA paper from my lab on reconstructing Holocene summer temps and assessing proxy-specific biases in warm-season temperature reconstructions in northern Fennoscandia. I hope you enjoy. Check it out 👇!
Reconstructing warm-season temperatures using brGDGTs and assessing biases in Holocene temperature records in northern Fennoscandia
Understanding Holocene climate variability is crucial for predicting future climate change, which will disproportionally affect high-latitude regions.…

The world must get onto the blue path: cut greenhouse gas emissions in half over the next seven years!
That is what “keeping 1.5° alive” means. #IPCC
And we must limit warming to 1.5° to avert a planetary scale disaster.

Hi folks. I'm new to this B'sky thing. I enjoyed hearing about all the amazing science you were doing on the old bird, and I look forward to getting back to that! I'm mostly a listener but will share occasional updates from my lab on our paleo work in NW Canada and areas of Alaska. Nice to meet ya!
