Ph.D. student Ruisi Cai has received a 2025 NVIDIA Graduate Fellowship. Her research primarily focuses on large language model efficiency, reasoning, and AI security, specifically efficient training and inference for large foundation models while enhancing decision-making capabilities.

Congrats to Texas ECE alumnus Simeon Bochev (BSEE, 2012) who was recognized by the Texas McCombs School of Business with the Rising Star Award, which recognizes young alumni who are making their mark in their respective fields. Simeon also recently joined the Texas ECE External Advisory Committee.
