I agree we should be able to choose for ourselves what feels right for us. As humans, we should also be open/willing to grow/change when we learn why a certain term may be offensive to someone else or a group of someones.

Thanks for sharing. I refer to my 'bio' mother as my 1st mom/mother as she was the 1st mother I had and parented me for 11 months. I've always felt both my 1st mom & raising mom were 'real' so that term has never resonated with me. We all get to decide for ourselves!! 🙌🏼
