After spending a few months individually tracking down parts for a retro PC build I finally have enough parts to turn it on for the first time and IT LIVES!
I know i could've just bought a full PC but where's the fun lol!
Seeing that PC live for the first time was really exciting #retrocomputing

i was so in disbelief and anger when the 1tb hard disk that cost me a WHOLE euro revealed itself to be faulty. out of spite and frustration at the wasted buck, i decided to dissect the hell out of the thing and frame it, like a mere insect.

I spent the last two days of my life trying to get the official discord client to run on windows xp, believe me or not but I GOT IT TO RUN! However it was almost unusable and especially unstable.
Who would have thought running a modern app on an unsupported OS on 20yo hardware would not work well??
