Yesterday, UofL's Center for GIS held #GISDay 2025: Seeing the Forest for the Trees - Mapping Health in an Urban Landscape  to showcase how GIS helps foster a deeper understanding of our world. The Weitzman School of Design at UPenn awarded the 2025 Witte-Sakamoto Family Medal in City and Regional Planning to the University of Louisville’s Green Heart Louisville Project at a public ceremony earlier this week.
