In Brindlewood Bay, you start out by investigating mundane murders and as the story progresses, you start to uncover Cthulhu-esque horrors. That was my inspiration for these intros with the initial one being a mundane opener for an 80’s Sitcom and getting progressively weirder over all 10
Episodes.

When listening to a ‘system sampler’ actual-play podcast, do you prefer one shots or short campaigns?

If you’re running a new system and you make a decision that goes against the vibe and atmosphere of said system, but the rest of the episode felt really good, what do you do? Scrap the episode? Give a ‘trigger warning’ at the beginning? Or just let it play?

Something I saw with alarming regularity on a discussion about what makes people abandon an actual play podcast is that the cast is all male.

Is that really the state of things? I love my cast; it’s discouraging to think we shot ourselves in the foot before we even properly got off the ground!
