They're at a luncheon, the guy walks up, says "I didn't forget that gift you gave Son. Thank you." and hands over an envelope.
Husband assumed it was a thank you card.
It was not.
It was a print out detailing the kid's planned trek across Europe with GFM link/ other suggestions for contributing.

What a waste! It's not like they will ever have to manage accounts to run a bakery, hair salon, or plumbing service.
And teaching poetry to a victims' advocate? Why in the world would a victims' advocate want to be familiar with a form of expression humans have found solace through for centuries?

But "I didn't have a reaction." isn't a good story and doesn't win you attention and sympathy.
Everybody wants to be part of the conversation, so any headache becomes "a reaction."
Even if you have a bad reaction- if your body couldn't handle the vaccine, imagine what the full blown virus would do!

I can't fathom why the individual woman being spoken to like that does not respond with pure fire.
