looking at illustrations of european dragons from manuscripts and they almost never have horns. wild bc i feel like the modern image of western dragons always have horns or spikes down the back and that+wings+tail is what makes designs recognizable As Dragons. really wonder when that happend

its so cool that even as someone who was obsessed w learning animal facts as a kid like sought out weird animals to learn about i can still find new ones ive never heard of at age 27. this is a takin they live around the himalayas :)
