Who should we be contacting about this? Is there an appeals process for a TTRO? This is an unreasonable amount of time to close the path, and the diversion route is unsafe and inadequate.

There are so many ways to improve this scheme, which is really beneficial to commuters and families but also a giant handout to Halfords at the expense of local bike shops.

I mean, sure, but the Orchard Brae route will also cost a lot more and we really have no idea what it would take to ensure the Dean Bridge is structurally able to carry trams. There are multiple arguments in play here.

It's the best compromise though. Going double track would force cyclists to exit the path and share space with cars, which is a real step backwards. It would also mean a much more unpleasant experience for people walking/wheeling due to the narrow path beside the tram line.

Sounds like she'd restrict the NHS to only citizens, which would require anyone on a visa (including spouses) to go private? Even worse than the current health surcharge!

She's also wrong about who's entitled to use the NHS. Plenty of people without ILR are "ordinarily resident" and therefore entitled to healthcare. And people with ILR who are living outside the UK aren't necessarily entitled.
