I think these newer dev companies want to distance themselves from the big bad guys like EA and Ubi.

I was having this convo a few days ago and the other person made a good point about devs continuing to work on games that are finished. I agreed they do deserve compensation but I'd rather they just make something new. so would you rather a full priced (~$70) sequel in 3 years or a $15 DLC right now
