It has no reason to be there, especially not when most characters' ages are listed as "Unknown" without any unsourced bullshit statement after it
If it's unknown, it's unknown, nothing else has to be said

A lot of people visit those character pages, especially when it comes to characters they know nothing about
And not much people actually know anything about Mystia
If I saw that on a page of a character I knew nothing about on a wiki that's supposed to be reliable, I'd assume that would mean 'child'

Oh I wish they kept that consistent, Mystia's age on there is listed as "unknown, but implied to be young" for some fucking reason, not sourced whatsoever
And while it's not even wrong in the interpretation of 'young adult', it's extremely poorly-worded and almost intentionally misleading

At that point it's hardly even a wiki, it's pretty much an archive
Honestly I kinda WISH it was just an archive, because then you wouldn't have dickheads abandoning articles because they don't have a proper grasp on most of the characters and refuse to actually learn about them

The Touhou wiki is TOO focused on archiving though
Because of that, everything else on there isn't adequate at all
Which is pretty alarming since, again, it's the place a lot of people go to for info
It hasn't properly educated anyone about Mystia and has only fuelled the misinfo surrounding her

I haven't really seen much of that wiki at all, I'm only familiar with the Touhou wiki's bullshit lmao

I'd rather take a handful of sources from characters who are potentially unreliable narrators than take a bunch of "I made this up in my head and have no basis for it" bullshit, which is what the Touhou wiki does WAY too much for what's considered the best English Touhou wiki

It's still a whole lot better than the Touhou wiki not putting any effort into her page for the past 15 years though lmao

The VS Battles wiki pretty much exclusively concerns itself with strength and fighting abilities and whatnot, so technically the Touhou wiki has more info on her page there, but the VS wiki gets its job done a whole lot better, because the people running the Touhou wiki are lazy half-assed bums
