I enjoy diverse facial expressions. Seeing a happy character with a shadow over their dace to depict anger feels a bit cheap.
It is a style! A preference! I do not enjoy... Hopefully I will do comics with faces that will make people laugh but also accurately express the inner thoughts.

In love with this shading method because it is capturing what I spend most of my rendering time doing in very little time. I can change colors freely and generally don't feel like my layer structure isna sloppy mess.
Plus my studies done in acrylic pay off now! 🎉🎉🎉
