even llms can be reasonably useful , see the "concept network" meta released recently that is quite interesting, but obviously few people in the ai space seem to care cause they are all trying to make you use these things for every problem and non-problem in the world lol

llms are also machine learning by every stretch of the imagination, i think the use case that is trying to be sold is more relevant

i guess newtonian gravity is well understood but once you turn to general relativity and so on theres still a lot of curious questions as far as i know
