Unions Manawatū stands in solidarity with the brave comrades who have attempted to break Israel’s illegal blockade on international aid to Palestinians. Three of them are NZers, including Sam Leason of Ōtaki, a committed activist who we should all be proud of. Ngā mihi nunui ki a rātou!

A great turnout on Wednesday night for the launch of the Stronger Together - Keep Māori Wards campaign. Unions Manawatū and TEU organiser Ben Schmidt has spearheaded this effort to retain what the rat b*stards in Govt are trying to take from us - the Te Pūao Māori Ward.

ACT's Brooke Van Velden, Minister for Workplace Relations and Safety, is tossing all existing Pay Equity claims in the bin and making it nearly impossible to refile them.
