Why is it your Republican MAGA colleagues in the Senate wouldn't convict to have him removed from office for anything he may be impeached for? There's enough now to do so and protect election integrity. Though seems your colleagues are power hungry and also want the violence, racism and misogyny.

well, that would first require evidence that protesters are actually being paid other than Trump just saying shit on social media.

I still don'tunderstand why anything Trump says on his personal account on a platform he owns is considered official statements. It would be nice to ignore him.

The hypocricy as the Right touted Jan 6 was a "peaceful protest" yet they went to DC armed. "Proud Boys’ leader Enrique Tarrio, was found in possession of two large-capacity magazines..."

he's the prosecutor, judge and jury now?

Remember when Trump did nothing when the Capitol was under attack and begging Trump to end it and there was nothing done? This feels like that. We knew who he was and is.

What ever happened to leadership that actually helped to prepare for the storms and the aftermaths of people without power, food and heat? I guess this administration doesn't consider loss of life as important and probably some sort of way to let the "weak" suffer.

With the sound muted I couldn't stop looking at the tall guy behind him and how nervous he seems and his inability to stop touching his face and mouth.

Ironic as it was junk bonds that was the straw on the Atlantic City Casinos camels back.

One quote that seems to be a foreshadow is "“As Trump goes, so goes Atlantic City” only replace AC with US. He has not changed since 1990.

Decades-Old Housing Discrimination Case Plagues Donald Trump
In the 1970s, the U.S. Department of Justice sued Donald Trump, his father and Trump Management, alleging the Trumps engaged in racial discrimination at their properties.

It's amazing how he really sticks to scripts that are decades old. In this scenario, it's just a modified version of his 2015 speech announcing his candidacy. Only difference is he stopped with the "...nd some, I assume, are good people" part.

and of course Trump oblivious as to how he's ranted and harassed witnesses in courts, Congress, obstructed justice, went after Sessions, Mueller, federal & state justices, the insurrection - so if being 'disrespectful' is a criteria, it's unfortunate his pathology prevents him from self awareness.

If there's a disdain of federal obstruction, then why isn't this guy also supporting the release of the Epstein files which is past the deadline?

I'm livid that the Senate won't bring in Hegseth for strict scrutiny on this bullshit. MAGA Republicans on Sen Armed Services Committee (SASC) & Sen Appropriations Subcommittee on Defense should be handing Hegseth a new one for such overt retaliation. Thune and his GOP goons are complicit.

Pay more attention to this "hemisphere" rhetoric. Trump wants to dominate the North West hemisphere and be big like Russia and China in the North Eastern Hemisphere. Ogles is pretty much promoting a new world order. In other words, this is Trump MAGA now:

3 January seems to be a pattern with Trump. He had the Iranian General assissinated on 3 Jan 2020.

"They're bringing drugs, they're bringing crime, they're rapists, and some, I assume, are good people." vibes.

I mean Republicans in both chambers could just evict Trump from the Oval at any time. But they don't because they agree and/or benefit with Trump.

Whenever I see the word "assimilate" especially in any way that Stephen Miller would use it, it reminds me of the Borg from STNG. In general, if someone says something almost quoted directly from the Borg, it's most likely to be a horrifically bad approach.

I hate how Trump fails to understand that Congress is to represent their local districts and their states, not a party, not a President - the actual people.

He truly has no idea how it works or who "the people" are.

OMG I truly hope that pretty soon MTG and Massie use this as a reason to get enough support on their side of the aisle to get a motion to vacate Johnson.

He's never going to understand what it feels like for people. He's never and will not starve. He uses private jets so no cancelled airline flights. He can survive without a job and fails to understand not all have 401k and can afford private medical care. He thrives on the gap.

I wonder how powerful it was when Sen. Barry Goldwater (R-AZ), House Minority Leader John Rhodes (R-AZ), and Senate Minority Leader Hugh Scott (R-PA) to tell Nixon it was game over.

I wish that Thune, Speaker Johnson, Schumer and Jeffries to tell Trump "STFU or you'll be impeached & convicted".
