What on earth is this timeline. I think if I woke up from a coma in 2016 to find that everything following the Brexit vote had been a fever dream and it had actually gone the way of reason and sensibility... I'd be relieved first and foremost.

He is ignoring how problematic it is in respect to so many things, by accepting the role, and accepting that his acting talents will fund transphobia.
