The UNCTAD Commodity Price Index #UCPI was 3.1% higher in November 2025 than it was a year earlier, with a continuing increase in the minerals, ores and metals group (+38.7%).

Between 2023 to 2024, the yuan and the yen depreciated against the US$ respectively at rates of 2% and 7%. The pound sterling appreciated against the US$ at rate of 3%. The euro was stable.
