Update: Niece showed me the pictures inside one book and not only do the characters all have different names, hairstyles, and powers, but she noticed weird anatomy such as six fingered hands. Kids are smart. They deserve better.

I can still understand people not liking this route that they're going in (which is fine). But I'm hopeful that Nintendo might do a swap between each style. Metroid Dread, Prime 4, then a Metroid Dread 2, Prime 5, etc...so you get isolated 2D, then more cinematic 3D entries every few years.

The dialog is also pretty quippy as well, specifically with the other Hunters (Gandrayda especially) and yeah, it is awkward Samus never says anything back to all these characters. All this to say Prime 4 isn't really doing anything unheard of or shocking if you actually go back and check out MP3.
