...to someplace you can easily fill and drain it (I recommend the shower). Now, you can either fill the bucket with water, changing the water every hour or two, or keep a slow trickle of water running ito the bucket.

The first thing you will need a container that will allow you to completely submerge your turkey in water (I use a food grade 5 gallon bucket with a lid). Put the turkey (still wrapped) in the container, then move the container...

And while I don't make friends easily (being the somewhat anti-social curmudgeon I am), I treasure those people I meet and connect with.

...it is home to some great restaurants and other attractions, including the lighthouse that started my love of lighthouses, "Ol' Barney" - Barnegat Light.

Since then, I have made many delicious meals for family and friends. I consider myself a talented amateur in the kitchen, and have no desire to go "pro". But I still watch these shows when possible to get ideas and inspiration

The first that got me were the "Two Fat Ladies", Clarissa Dickson Wright and Jennifer Paterson. Later, others would teach me a lot - but none as much as Alton Brown. Man, what better way to get me that to do the science behind cooking.

...proven to be good company not only for my children, but to myself. every day, they remind me *why* I strive to be a better father...a better person...than I was yesterday. But for reasons I will never understand (and don't need to), they believe in me. So I keep trying.
