I’d rather be riding my bike. He/Him, ally, free dad hugs. Technically every joke I tell is a dad joke. More kids on bikes!
Might be better off just rigging up an actual gong, lol. I’ve encountered more than one elderly person who did not hear the spurcycle bell. Although I’m not sure if it was because they couldn’t hear the high pitch or they couldn’t hear anything at all….

Can’t go wrong with a Spurcycle or a Knog Oi, I have each on a couple bikes and they are loud!

“There's no such thing as bad weather, only unsuitable [gear]” Sounds like it’s time to get a fat bike! #n+1

It’s not just in the city, I see it all over this state. “He’s friendly” means jack shit to me if your dog comes flying out of the woods or follows me barking on the trail.

“Maybe you didn’t hear me, I said love thy neighbor.”

That’s the important question! For me I would go 140mm 27.5 trail bike because it would be for pump tracks and jibbing around janky New England trails. Which way would you go?

I’ve taught _so_ many people about the adjustment barrel. 9/10 times the derailleur shifts fine after a couple turns and they ride away happy.

And if I had just put out a few more watts I could have broken the sound barrier….

New England is the same way, riding in the leaves here is wicked risky!

I would be just as happy to be gifted a bike now as I was as a kid. Probably more, actually…
