Goblin, game designer, performer of various things.

Currently working on a process for adapting esoterica, folklore, and similar sources into games.

Will probably forget I am on here for long periods of time.

I've had my mid-range off-brand Android for years. It works fine.

The only thing wrong with it is that the software gets worse with each update.
Examples: The provided music app now keeps asking me to sign up for a streaming service. There are "suggestions" for apps when I check the installed ones.

Not sure about the morning, I'm helping out with Games on Demand.
In the afternoon I'm running Exegesis, where we play scholars in the distant future trying to recreate the lost art of Roleplaying Games... and getting it very wrong.

I'm heading down on the Friday, running RPGs most of the day, then hopefully getting chance to hang with lots of lovely people in the evening.

Headwear in general works very well, in my experience.

What are the core concepts that you are trying to communicate, that you are trying to prepare people to receive?

I know the type of situation, but there's a lot of variation on how different people approach it so it might help to hear your breakdown.

A terrifying thought!

I almost always buy with the intent of playing.
However by the time the thing ships I might be craving an entirely different style of game, or have found something I really like that fills the same niche better.
I saw a game that looks right up my alley, but by Nov 2027 (!) I might not want that.

Moo.com do them, they aren't cheap but they were solid when I used them in the past.

With some printers you can get a different back on each card.
I've done a couple of games that way.

i wish it was easier to differentiate "i want to become a successful capitalist entity as my primary interest in this knowing" vs "success is an unrelated side effect to my creative process" when telling people about game design

Emotional damage is what Luthor uses against him in Red Son, too.

In terms of travel it's about the same for me - leave the car outside the ULEZ, get the tube into London, one change, and get off reasonably close.
I'm also interested to see what the Excel is like, especially for the RPGs.

Given how much I am spending on a hotel, yes, yes I can!

I've got a bit more time - as I can't really get there and back on the day - so I am there to chat!
I'm also running Exegesis for the second time ever, which will be fun.

It's a Norwegian anime convention that I've been running RPG events at for a number of years now.
This was the sixth campaign I've run for them, and the third in this continuity/setting.

The leads were not written with a particular project in mind, which led to some really surprising connections. I was very nervous about this going in, but an initial in-character discussion usually yielded enough alignment that the adventure ran smoothly.

Level 3.

3/3, feel free to ask questions.

Each session the players chose a primary Project that they hoped to advance, and a Lead to pursue in order to achieve that goal.
Each project had a scope, 3-8, and each session could fill out a max of three points of scope, possibly spread across multiple projects, following the fiction.
2/3?
