Behold the gatekeeper of productivity. She allows no edits to pass. It seems my plan to review page proofs has been thwarted.

A little late in posting, but my daughter and I had such a great time at the #VIVIZ concert in Kansas City! It was wonderful to step away from work for a night and enjoy K-pop live. Next up: #ARTMS in St. Louis this November!

I figured this was coming, but the #PurpleKiss news still hits hard. Their debut MV remains one of my all-time favorites, and I am not sure we will ever see another track quite like "Sweet Juice."

Delighted to discover that my 2017 article on asexuality in comics, which I distinctly remember writing myself, was apparently authored by AI. Who knew ChatGPT was ghostwriting for me five years before it existed?

I am BEYOND excited for this sub-unit debut. My bias, my bias-wrecker, and what looks like an amazing concept. GAHHHHHH. #Billlie #MoonSua #Siyoon

HeeJin performing "ViViD" for the first time outside of Korea was exactly the right energy to kick off an amazing concert last night. So good. #ARTMS #LunarTheory

Did I *need* to spend money on this right now? Probably not. Did I do it anyway? Absolutely. Spring break road trip! #ARTMS #OURII

Even with snow days shortening our winter term to just a week, a number of seventh- and eighth-grade students fully immersed themselves in the storyworlds of K-pop. It was great to spend some time exploring BTS and NMIXX in January, and they seemed to enjoy creating their infographics at the end!

Reorganized my K-pop collection this evening instead of writing. Responsible? Nope. Satisfying? Yes, indeed.

TRANS RIGHTS ARE HUMAN RIGHTS—FULL STOP. Watching Democrats in the U.S. cave to bigotry instead of standing firm against it is beyond disappointing—it is dangerous. Trans folks deserve safety, joy, and liberation. Do not stop fighting FOR and ALONGSIDE them. DO NOT COMPLY WITH HATE.

"You write about Billlie's story?" It has been nearly two weeks since I saw #Billlie in concert, and I am still thinking about how excited Siyoon was to hear that I am an academic studying the Billlieverse. Of all the members, she seems to be the most invested in their storyworld and its message.

The "daylist" on Spotify gets me.

It was nice to see you again, Boston. Until next time!

Being on my feet for six hours yesterday was totally worth it. I really enjoyed presenting on "K-Pop Pedagogy" at #NCTE24 and sharing my approach to using #Billlie and their "Billlieverse" to teach allusion, symbolism, and global media literacy.

This is not up for debate.

Who else is attending #NCTE24 in Boston this week? I am looking forward to connecting with fellow ELA teachers and attending some incredible sessions. If you happen to be available on Friday, feel free to stop by my poster session—I would love to meet you! #KPOP #PEDAGOGY

My daughters and I are driving home with no voices and no regrets. An absolutely stunning performance tonight. Grateful OT7 finally made it to the States. #Billlie

Stepping away from my K-pop projects today to (hopefully) wrap up a second draft of my essay on *The Magic Fish.* Such a joy to dive back into this phenomenal graphic novel with each read. #ComicsStudies #YA
