A little late in posting, but my daughter and I had such a great time at the #VIVIZ concert in Kansas City! It was wonderful to step away from work for a night and enjoy K-pop live. Next up: #ARTMS in St. Louis this November!

Delighted to discover that my 2017 article on asexuality in comics, which I distinctly remember writing myself, was apparently authored by AI. Who knew ChatGPT was ghostwriting for me five years before it existed?

Even with snow days shortening our winter term to just a week, a number of seventh- and eighth-grade students fully immersed themselves in the storyworlds of K-pop. It was great to spend some time exploring BTS and NMIXX in January, and they seemed to enjoy creating their infographics at the end!

"You write about Billlie's story?" It has been nearly two weeks since I saw #Billlie in concert, and I am still thinking about how excited Siyoon was to hear that I am an academic studying the Billlieverse. Of all the members, she seems to be the most invested in their storyworld and its message.

Being on my feet for six hours yesterday was totally worth it. I really enjoyed presenting on "K-Pop Pedagogy" at #NCTE24 and sharing my approach to using #Billlie and their "Billlieverse" to teach allusion, symbolism, and global media literacy.
