I’m heading out on the Star Trek Cruise next week, and I’ve got myself a bunch of MN Trek swag to distribute to fellow cruisers, because fighting fascism is a full time job! Hoping to raise funds for the Immigrant Rapid Relief Fund as well, if I don’t get in trouble for soliciting donations 🫠

#catsofminneapolis - Ace would like to know why interloper new kitten Roan is in HER donut

I was pulled into a work emergency getting folks set for a trial on the east coast this morning. Normal introductions include how are you, to which I say: The federal government killed someone in front of my donut shop a week ago, so I am righteously angry. #justminneapolisthings

Visited local letterpress shop Bench Press today for yard signs and other locally printed merch. If you’re in the Twin Cities, 10/10 would recommend getting your fuck fascism and ICE merch there.

Not me sitting on my couch listening to the Current’s Minneapolis mention set, crying into my coffee. Fuck this shit man.

Also, random #justminneapolislegalthings, I’ve been reading Trump related case materials for years, and it’s surreal to see judges you have cases in front of on a regular basis making national news for those opinions now.

Ok, so I’m not getting in line for noted liberal squish Judge Schiltz’s hearing on Friday, but hot damn this order. If I ever got an order like this or the prior one from Judge Schiltz on one of the cases I work on, I’d quit the (paralegal) practice of law and go into exile in the northwoods.
An extraordinary document. Read it.

“Attached to this order is an appendix that identifies 96 court orders that ICE has violated in 74 cases. … ICE has likely violated more court orders in January 2026 than some federal agencies have violated in their entire existence.”

Look, Minnesotans are insufferable whenever folks talk about our state. I beg the federal government to stop their ICE assault, because soon we will be so insufferable we’ll go nuclear.
I wrote this song on Saturday, recorded it yesterday and released it to you today in response to the state terror being visited on the city of Minneapolis. It’s dedicated to the people of Minneapolis, our innocent immigrant neighbors and in memory of Alex Pretti and Renee Good.

I see the right wing press is attacking noted liberal squish Judge Patrick Schiltz for donations to organizations that provide legal support to the indigent, including the Immigrant Law Center of Minnesota. That sound you hear is the collective eyeroll & sigh of everyone in the MN legal community.

Tonight’s cats of south Minneapolis - our new kitten Roan sleeping in tandem with his sassy auntie Kedi underneath a portrait of a cat eating Cheetos and a borg cube lamp. Get some sleep dear Minneapolis, tomorrow we continue the fight.

Our local revolutionary Ace Hardware (38th and Nicollet) is sold out of both 3m respirators and candles. Because we’re prepared to get gassed during the day, and light memorials for those they take from us at night.

So bsky, intro to me. I’m a paralegal whose hobby is litigation disaster tourism, and also court cases against the Trump administration. I was just in LA for a trial, and was able to watch a hearing in front of Judge Frimpong in the Vasquez Perdomo v. Noem matter. And now…

Haven‘t been doing our Deep Space Nine watch through since Renee Good’s murder. Pulled it back up today as a break from the horrors of living in Minneapolis right now, only to be reminded that oh yeah, we’re at the Dominion War here. FML. But at least my cats are cute.

Hanging with the wee beasties as my toes finally thaw after the great Minnesota get together to tell ICE to fuck right off.

Ok Twin Cities bsky, I am back from my 3 weeks of travel and need to DO SOMETHING. I remember reading people doing laundry for folks that can’t get to the laundromat. Can anyone direct me (DM) towards a way to get hooked up with that? And/or buying and delivery groceries. I’m in Kingfield.

Twin Cities bsky, does anyone have the indictment against Nekima Levy Armstrong?
January 22, 2026 at 8:34 PM
Cats if Minneapolis update: new kitten Roan is integrating himself in with the existing cat crew. He’s figured out the “wack uncle Dood in the donut” game, and is trying to win over crazy auntie Kedi. Resident (grown ass adult) kittens Ace and Stew remain wary.

During the pandemic I started pin collecting, and now have something for nearly all occasions. Twin Cities under siege by the federal government? Yup, I’ve got pins for that. Heading to NYC for another work trip, and hope my colleagues enjoy my selections.
