The Higher Education Program wants to wish Dr. Jay Dee all the best in his new role as Associate Dean for Faculty Development and Academic Programs in the College of Education and Human Development. Dr. Dee has been a faculty in the HE Program for over 20 years!

Each year, the Higher Education Program hosts an All-Cohort Retreat w/ students, faculty, staff, & alumni. We come together to network and build community, engage in professional development workshops, & learn of the new things happening in the Program.

Please join our Night of Scholarship, where Dr. Lorna Rivera and Dr. Melissa Colón, will engage in a book talk about their 2025 book "Critical Perspectives on Latino Education in Massachusetts." All are welcome, and light refreshments will be provided.

Faculty Spotlight! Monnica Chan is an Assistant Professor in the HE Program. Her research uses quant methods to better understand how students pay for college & the impact of financial aid policies. When she’s not analyzing large-scale datasets, she’s often doing fun things outdoors with her family.

Faculty Spotlight! Jay Dee is a Professor in the HE Program. His research focuses on org. theory, HE leadership, and faculty careers and development. When he is not teaching, he can be found playing in a recreational flag football league or enjoying a hike in the mountains of New England.
