#MCHPReserach has linked Manitoba's Healthy Baby Prenatal Benefit Program to better outcomes for newborns & mothers, but a new study found these impacts decreased between 2003-2019 as the monthly payments, since doubled, remained at 2001 levels despite inflation.

The Get Your Benefits! program encourages health care providers to address poverty's role in health by helping them connect patients with resources & supports that they are entitled to but often go unclaimed. Its successes show the need to expand efforts.
