Yes! Bluesky is great but you gotta learn to use the features that make it so special: feeds, starter packs, labelers, etc.
After you are following a few feeds and active users, COMMENT IN THEIR THREADS! If you’re well-known, conversations will come to you—but until then, go to the conversations! 🙂

could be wrong but I think people took bluesky not having an algorithm to mean you can just post whenever and run and accumulate however many likes you believe you deserve
