In the last twenty years, I've gone from being able to get an appointment with my primary care doc the same week to needing to plan months out. We're already there. If it's acute, I almost always have to go to an urgent care. Same for my kiddo. We make annual exam appts a year out.

Even with the flu shot, my son got REALLY sick- he's a totally healthy kid otherwise. High fevers (104) for almost a week, only slightly mitigated with Tylenol and ibuprofen. The H3N2 strain is no.joke.
