All Americans should have a right to quality, affordable healthcare. Right now, costs for insurance and prescription drugs are out of control.

I'll work to restore ACA tax credits, restore full funding for Medicaid and Medicare, and fight to create a public option.

We need more leaders from a STEM background to fight back in Congress.

Congratulations to @koreydropkin and @corychristensen7 from @teamusa on their curling silver medal! 🥈 I’m still training for the next Winter Olympics in 2030.

If you're a billionaire, you can get whatever you want from this President. That's what we saw with the Gordie Howe bridge. The truth is: that's all too common in Washington.

We need to face the facts: working Michiganders are struggling.

"Don Ufford, former Head of Global Vehicle Engineering at Ford and candidate for MI-11:
'Blocking the Gordie Howe Bridge will devastate our economy...If President Trump wants to talk to someone who actually knows what it takes to build things in Michigan, he can give me a call.'"
President Trump is threatening to block the opening of the Gordie Howe International Bridge between Detroit and Canada "until the United States is fully compensated for everything we have given them," he said in a social media post on Monday.

We’re out there on the record: if President Trump wants to get serious about manufacturing, he should give me a call. Check out the story at ufford4michigan.com/news.

President Trump gave the finger to an autoworker in Michigan a few weeks ago. Now he’s threatening to close a bridge our workers depend on. If President Trump wants to talk to someone who actually knows how to build things here, he can give me a call.

Just another example of President Trump playing politics with Michiganders' livelihoods. This will devastate our economy, especially our manufacturers and our auto industry. Unacceptable.

It's Black History Month. This is a chance to recognize and celebrate the legacy of so many Black Michiganders who have made our communities a better place.

When I go to Congress, I'm going to fight to preserve Black history - because Black history is American history.

Scouts taught me a lot, including how to handle weather like this, AND to always serve others. That's the approach I'll take to Congress.

We have 10,000 fewer STEM PhDs in the federal government because the Trump Administration has run them out of town.

These are folks we need in our government, who can help us solve problems and make life better for everyday people.

It's time we send an engineer to Congress.

People are taking notice of our message of building things in Michigan, lowering costs, protecting healthcare, and protecting our freedoms. We've got to keep it going!
February 2, 2026 at 6:15 PM
After I retired from Ford, I had the chance to go serve in the federal government, where I worked to bring home manufacturing jobs and train our workers for the jobs of the future.

And in that role, I had the chance to work with some of the most amazing public servants I've ever met.

I am so honored and humbled by all the support from everyday people on this campaign. Because of your support, we've now raised more than any other candidate two quarters in a row. And I will not take a dime of Corporate PAC money because I'm focused on serving you.

I was proud to stand with patriotic protesters today in Troy, who are standing up to demand accountability for the actions of ICE and this Administration.
January 31, 2026 at 7:43 PM
Someone asked me the other day: What does it mean to build things here in Michigan?

It means we invest in job training, apprenticeships, and good union jobs. It means we value the work of people who work with their hands and shower after work.
January 30, 2026 at 4:00 PM
It's simple: we don't need special tax breaks for data centers. What we do need is leaders who will stand up for and listen to our communities.
January 29, 2026 at 5:56 PM
It is past time for us to raise the minimum wage. There is no reason that people should be working 40+ hours a week and still be unable to pay their bills.

This is about making life more affordable for everyone.
January 28, 2026 at 5:38 PM
This has to stop. Trump's ICE cannot receive any further funding. We must hold them accountable.
January 26, 2026 at 7:56 PM
Today, ICE has shot and killed yet another person in Minneapolis. This shooting was avoidable. This Administration and the ICE agents responsible must be held accountable, and this violent operation must end.
